Galapagos, 2007
Jessica Kallage-Götze

The shades of the glass drawing are formed when the molten glass clashes the surface. The plaster structure of the Panel breaks up and the result is a vivid atmosphere, which makes the image seem three dimensional. Like curved streamlines the glass threads slide over the plaster surface and develop a brilliant luminosity with light reflections.
