Evelyn Dragan

“Because of photography I meet people and see situations that I would not have encountered otherwise. I can’t remain within my comfort zone. To fathom the limits of possibilities is my day to day routine and this is what I appreciate greatly about my job.”

Evelyn Dragan was born  in Frankfurt a. M. in 1990. In 2013 she completed her design studies at the Fachhochschule Mainz. Already during her studies she was managing her own photography blog and photographed for various online and offline magazines. Today Evelyn works as an independent photographer and is the co-founder of the photography magazine CULT.

In her portraits and still-lives Evelyn Dragan emphasises form. She is fascinated by lines, patterns and forms that result when she photographs an arm, a flower or a back view of a person. Here pictures are never shallow; they are beautiful records of vulnerable imperfection.
