Diana Drubach

Exceptional compositions, strong colors and dynamic forms, a balance between abstract and naturalistic - Diana Drubach shows in her oil paintings familiar objects unusually close.

Diana (born 1984) studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich with Professors Gerhard Merz and Stephan Dillemuth. Her artworks have been shown in several exhibitions, including the Great Art Exhibition in the Haus der Kunst in Munich.

The works of the series Minimal Cosmos give the viewer a lost perception: The exploratory, extremely detailed seeing of everyday objects. What children often still do:  To explore fruits and vegetables with all your senses, is often dismissed by us as unimportant and commonplace. Diana manages to arouse curiosity with her paintings  again, curious about details of everyday life and shows us extraordinary excerpts of an organic world.
