Caroline Fischer

In her drawings Caroline Fischer stages excerpts of classical music and rhythmic compositions. Born in 1987, the artist studied at the Academy for visible arts in Munich with Professor Karin Kneffel. In 2013 Caroline received a scholarship for Japan. The gained insights have shaped her technique in a way that the Asian ink painting technique can be visibly seen in her drawings.

In her works Caroline studies the different pictorial presentations of music. Some years ago in a library she found a couple of handwritten music pictures from famous classical composers. Inspired by the old scriptures Caroline redraws single chosen elements and creates silent but not less melodious pieces.
